<br />cave-ins and which are inaccessible by normal equipment. The

<br />to the low bidder, Tri-State Utilities, and appropriation of
<br />$200,000. I concur with the Direc=or of Public Works and, with
<br />your approval of this item, the balance in the Capital
<br />Improvements Fund is $16,481,116.-
<br />
<br /> Motion by Mr. King, and seconded by Mr. Epperson, to adopt
<br />the following ordinance, and was adopted by the following vote:

<br /> "AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $200,000.00 FROM THE CAPITAL
<br />IMPROVEMENTS FUND TO REPAIE CAVE-INS IN THE CITY STORM DRAINAGE
<br />SYSTEM."

<br />94-153 - Letter from the City Manager reco~unending adoption of
<br />an ordinance to appropriate $25,000 from the Capital
<br />Improvements Fund for repairs and inspections to the City's
<br />bridges.

<br /> "Funds are included in FY 93-94 of the 1993-98 Capital
<br />Improvement Plan for repairs to the City's bridges. In order to
<br />complete the design of repairs to the Churchland Bridge, and
<br />continue the necessary inspections of all the bridges which are
<br />required by the Virginia Department of Transportation, the
<br />Director of Public Works recommends that $25,000 be appropriated
<br />for this work.

<br /> I concur with the Director of Public Works and, with your
<br />approval of this item, the balance in the Capital Improvements
<br />Fund is $16,456,116.'.
