Board'of Aldermen. <br /> Gentlemen:-- Your Claims <br /> <br />in concerning the following matters referred <br /> <br /> ~omm~ittee respectfully reports here- <br />to the Joint Glaims Committee J~ne l~, My 9, and Jan. <br /> <br />10, 1911: <br /> Referred by common 0ouncit June tSth. <br /> <br /> A claim of Mrs. M~mie L, Dozier for $100, because of injuries <br />in the Seventh Ward. <br /> It is recommended that this claim be not allewed, <br /> <br />received by her'on Elm avenue <br /> <br />Referred by Common Council May 9th. <br /> <br /> A petition of Walter H. Edmonds tO be paid-$50, because <br />in December, 1909. <br /> It is recommended that' the claim be-paid. <br /> <br />of a leg broken at the Police Station <br /> <br /> Referred by common Council January 10th. <br /> <br /> To paya rent of $48 for hall in the Seventh ward formerly occupied by the Annex Fire Company. <br /> It <br /> is recommended that said amount be paid for rent of said hall for six months, at $8.00 <br />per month. <br /> (Signed}, D. ~. A communication from Garrett & Company concerning charges made by the <br />Ferries 0omp~ny on freight automobiles, <br /> We,have looked into this matter with the Superintendent of the ~erries, ~r. 'Garrett of <br />G~rrett & Company, and the City Attorney, and h~ve eon'eluded that the Council have no authority in <br />the matter, as the charges new in forse by the Ferries Oompany are i~ accordance with the terms of <br />the lease. <br /> (Signed~.
