<br /> A request of the Seventh Ward Board that $15,000 be advanced to the Seventh Nard by the city
<br />for street improvements in said Ward; said amount to be repaid out of its new Bond Issue.
<br /> It is recommended that the request be granted, provided said amount of $15,000 can be ob-
<br />tained from City banks, on.six months~ time, a~ 6% interest, the Ward to pay the interest on the amt,
<br />until redeemed by it.

<br /> A request of the Seventh ward Local Board that $600. be ptace~ to~appropriation for Streets, in
<br />order to provide a salary for a Sanitary Inspector and to meet deficit in expenses.
<br /> It is recommended ~that a special appropriation of $600 be allowed for the same. out Of the
<br />Ward funds~

<br />crete culvertacross Lincoln street where it would intersect Washington if extended, at a cost not'
<br />to exceed $700; expense of the same to be borne by the City mhd the Seventh Ward.
<br /> As advised by the Street 0ommittee, ~50 would ~ut t~e bridge mt said intersection in a fair-
<br />ly good condition for a year or two, mhd it is recommended, therefore, that such an amou~t b~ ex~end-
<br />ed om it at present, instead.of $700 for a concrete euivert, and that one-half of such expense be
<br />charged to the Seventh Ward.

<br /> It is further-recommended that the City Attorney be instructe~ to give his opinion .to the
<br />Conm~ittee in writing, within 30 days, in regard to the right of the ~ater Company to charge the Sixth
<br />and Seventh Wards more p,r hydrant for use of .water than ~s charged the~Oity proper.
<br /> That $75.00 be allowed the Cemetery.Committee, out of appropriation to 0emetery Department,
<br />for the purchase of a lawn mower.

<br /> That a'special appropriation of $250 be allowed for work on Dinwiddie street.
