Advisability of granolithic ~idewalks on the north side of Jefferson street, between Fourth and Fifth, and on the east side of Fifth street~ between Fayette and Jefferson. We report that this matter has been referred to the City Engineer for an estimate as ~o cost of the work. It is further recommended that the ~ayor~ with the City Attorney, be requested to proceed at ono~ against the Virginia Railway and Power ~ v ~ompan~ to compel it to comply with its contract in the reconstruction of its tracks on First street.
