<br /> Gentlemen:-- Tour Police Committee respectfully reports herein
<br />concerning the following matters referred to the Joknt Police Committee July 8 and June lC, 1913:

<br /> A request of the Board of Police Commiseioners that the Police Force be increased by two "plain
<br />c~o~h~s men.
<br /> Ne have looked into this matter, with the Chief and Captain of Police, and recommend that
<br /> the addition of two ~plain clothes~ men to the Police Force be provided for in the. Budget for 1914.
<br /> A petition of the Board of Police Commissioners to have an appropriation of $1,000.00 set aside
<br />as an "emer~enc~ fund" for ~aid Board.
<br /> It is believed by your Committee that there should be an "emergency fund" provided for the
<br /> Board of Police Commissioners, and we recommend a~ this time an appropriation of $300.00 therefor.

<br /> A communication was read from J. Co Nelson, Engineer Maintenance of Way of Seaboard Air
<br />Line Bailway to the Mayor, concerning First street, and said communication was ordered to-file.
<br /> Whereupon, on motion of Mr. Davis, the resolutionwas not concurred in, and by the
