General ~ager her,e. <br />I am advised by him today that he has instructed that this service be furmzshed promptly as re-' <br />quested." <br /> <br /> We attach hereto a lette~r from the Portsmouth Coal & Ice Ge. in offers <br /> to haul and distribute the crushed stone necessary for the i~provement ef:~ Branch <br />rea.d, which connects High street, hear five point~, with Glasgow street, ~a~ ~irgimia aven~e, <br />a dzstance of about three btoeks. <br /> As the improvement of this piece of roadway-will connect the extreme end of High <br />street with Glasgow etreet~ we deejm mt expedient and,~there~ore, reoo~nd that be <br />-referred to the Sixth Wa~d Local Improvement Board, wzth the request that the sa <br />the matter up with the Supervisors of l~orfolk County, amd make an effort to submit a favorable <br />report to the Council at i~s next regular meeting. <br /> <br /> (Signed) E.B.
