A request of the Ladies' Library Association to be allowed to use <br />the offices formerly occupied by Judge Crocker ~nd the buildinE attached to it by a platform, <br />for a public free library. <br /> We report that this matter has been attended to by the oommittee. <br /> <br /> A request of the Oity Collector for a telephone for his office. <br /> We have looked into this matter smd would recommend a phone connection in this office <br />with the office of the City Treasurer. <br /> <br /> A communication from P. B. & S. Water Co. calling attention to large qunn~lty of water wast- <br />ed at the City Jail and Station House during the month of N~rch, 1914. <br /> ~We report that this matter has been attended to and hope satisfaction h~s been given <br />to the er Company. <br /> <br />Question of removing the fence around the court house yard. <br /> Progress as to same. <br /> <br /> To take into consideration the condition of gutters and roof of the court house. <br /> We have this m~tter under consideration and hope to report at next.meetings of the <br />Councils. <br /> <br /> (With Power to Act).
