<br /> A petition of Harry L. Alexander for permission to lay_an eight-inch terra cotta sewer
<br />pipe along Wall street, from Chestnut to Paa~l,~ at his own expense.
<br /> It is recommended that the petition be granted, the work to be done under the super-
<br />vision of the City Engineer.
<br />
<br /> A petition of the Portsmouth Police Relief Association for use of the playground at the
<br />corner of Fourth and Wythe streets during the month of May, 1915, to hold a carnival; and also
<br />to be relie~ed~from the payment of a license tax on the same.
<br /> It is recommended that the petition be granted.
<br />
<br />To consider the paving of the south side of Ann street, between Armstrong and Owens.
<br /> It is recommended that the work be done, at a cos~ of $175.00.
