R., that said Chapter:be allowed to <br />place on the old jail lot a "memoriai" to Commodore Richard Dale. <br /> It is recommended that the "memorial" stone be allowed on the old jail lot, the special <br /> location of which is to be decided upon afterwards. <br /> <br /> (With Power to Act) A request of Circle No. 5, Monumental M. E. Church, to use the Cour~ <br />House yard on the afternoon of April 5th, for an egg hunt. <br /> We report that we have gTanted the request. <br /> <br /> To have representatives of Grimes Battery before the Committee to explain need of repairs <br />to the building. <br /> We report that we have had representatives of Grimes Battery before us and the matter <br /> of an appropriation for Grimes Battery Gun Room is in the hands of the Finance Committee. <br /> <br /> (With. An connection with same, it is recommended that we notify the Board of Supervisors of <br />NorfoAk County that we have.advertised for the repairs as set forth in accompanying specifica- <br />tions for painting the outszde of the Court House, roof, and new gutters; ana have received <br />three bids for sa~e, and that the lowest bid for all work specified was six hundred and two dot- <br />,ars an~ thirty-fmv$ cen~ ($80E~5)~the County's half of Sa~e being three hundred and~one del- <br />mars ana eighteen cents ($~01.18).
