Gentlemen:-- Your Pub- respectfully reports herein concerning ~he following matters 1915: A communication from the Mayo= advising the tot's office to that of the Health Department or Progress as to same. removal of the Plumbing Inspector from the Audi- of the City Engineer. A petition of the Regent of F~rt Nelson Chapter, D. A. R., that said Chapter:be allowed to place on the old jail lot a "memoriai" to Commodore Richard Dale. It is recommended that the "memorial" stone be allowed on the old jail lot, the special location of which is to be decided upon afterwards. (With Power to Act) A request of Circle No. 5, Monumental M. E. Church, to use the Cour~ House yard on the afternoon of April 5th, for an egg hunt. We report that we have gTanted the request. To have representatives of Grimes Battery before the Committee to explain need of repairs to the building. We report that we have had representatives of Grimes Battery before us and the matter of an appropriation for Grimes Battery Gun Room is in the hands of the Finance Committee. (With. Finance Committee) An appropriation of $1E5. to paint the outside of the'Court House. I . An connection with same, it is recommended that we notify the Board of Supervisors of NorfoAk County that we have.advertised for the repairs as set forth in accompanying specifica- tions for painting the outszde of the Court House, roof, and new gutters; ana have received three bids for sa~e, and that the lowest bid for all work specified was six hundred and two dot- ,ars an~ thirty-fmv$ cen~ ($80E~5)~the County's half of Sa~e being three hundred and~one del- mars ana eighteen cents ($~01.18). A petition of the School Board that Council divide the City into three school districts, as foll ows:~ District $1, All that part of the City lying ~nd being within the present boundaries of the Fi~s~, Second and Third Wards; District $~, All tha~ part of the City.lying and being -within the present boundaries of t$e Fifth and Sixth Wards, Bistrict $~ All that part of the !Cit~ lying and being within the present boundaries of the Fourth and Seventh Wards. ~ And also that~ Council name three Trustees from each of such districts, one from each dis- trict to be chosen for a period of one year; one from each district ~or~a p~riod of two years: and one from each district for ap eriod of three years, with the proviso that at the expiration of each term~ then and thereafter, successors are to be chosen for terms of three years, and with the further proviso that all incumbents shall hold over until their successors are named and have qualified.
