Gentlemen:- Y~= Special Committee on Grimes Battery Gun Room respectfully reports herein concerning the follow- ing matter referred to it by the two branches of City Council'April 13-~Oth, 1915: Referred by two branches April 1S-ZOth. Tc consider an appropriation for enlarging and repairing Grimes Battery Gun Room; to take into consideration also the cost of galvanized iron instead of brick for such enlargement; and to make report at the next Joint Session of the two branches. In connection with this report, Mr. Houghton presented resolutions from Stonewall Oamp, Confederate Veterans, and Mr. Laylo~, a statement concerning utility of Grimes Battery to the City, which resolntion and statement were read with the report. Water Ce. looking to an amicable adjustment of all features of the "water question;~ said matter being referred to the Oouncit Committee on Mater & Sewerage. The Board on April ~Oth concurred also in all recommendations of Committees, .except recommendation of the Finance Committee that a bill of the Chemo Company to amount of $~?.75 for supplies furnished the Fire Department, be ~aid, said matter being recommitted to the Fire mittee to ascertain how the bill was contracted.
