Walker. <br /> <br /> All of the above were concurred in, except section with regar~ to enforcing contract <br />against Va. Ry. & Power Co. in regard to track at intersection of High street and S. A. L. Rail- <br />way, which matter was referred to the Mayor with request that he furnish the Council with what <br />information ~he may have concerninE same. <br /> As there was a disagreement between the two bodies as to the manner of enforcing the <br />contract against the Va. Ry. & Power Co.~ Mr. Langhorne moved the appointment of a Conference <br />Committee to see if an agreement can be reached as to this matter. The motion was ad%~ted. <br /> <br /> Second. Matter adopted by the Common Council February ~Sth and referred tO the Board of <br />Aldermen for eoneurrence~ <br /> <br /> To refer to Pubtio Property Committee and Mayor, with power to act, matter of building a <br />detention house for contagious diseases on the south side of County street, between ~Crawford <br />andWater. <br /> The above was concurred in. <br /> <br /> Third. Matters adopted by the Board of Aldermen at a special meeting March 8th and refer- <br />red to the Commo~ Council for concurrence. <br /> <br /> <br />
