Matters adopted by the Board of Aldermen May 19th and referred to the Common Coun- <br />cil for concurrence. <br /> <br /> To refer to Public Property Committee, with power to act, matter of providing a voting <br />place for the Second Ward for the June. election. <br /> <br /> To pay several outstanding bills against the "Sundry" Account of Fire Department, when they <br />have been properly audited. <br /> <br />Coucurred in. <br /> <br /> Second. Matters adopted by the Common Council June 9th and referred to the Board of Alder- <br /> men for concurrence. <br /> <br /> To instruct th~ Ordinance Committee to bring, in an ordinance relieving practising physici- <br />s_ns from payment of Oity license tax for 1914.15. <br /> <br /> To authorize the Treasurer to renew notes to amount of $Z0,860.55, falling due in July, 1914. <br /> <br /> To authorize the expenditure of a sum not exceeding $50. to put a bath tub in house of the <br />Union Fire Co. <br /> <br /> To authorize the expenditure of $35. for a back and~spring for the Park View Engine. <br /> <br /> To authorize the Public P~operty Committee to spend a sum not to exceed $50. in addition to <br />appropriatio~ already made for "Repairs to Seaboard Market," for painting outside windows of the <br />Armory building, prov£ded bids are asked for the work. <br /> With regard te prOPosition to instruct the Ordinance Committee to b~ing in an ordinance <br />relieving p~-~ician~frOmpayment of Oity license tax forlS~A-15, Mr. Da~s remakrsd that the <br />Council had~i~eadyadopte~ the report o~ the Ordinance Gomm~tte~ co~cer~ing same and he would <br />move, therefore, that the~body adhere to said action. Board of Aldermen. <br /> _ C~ntlemen:-- Your Einance ConEittee respectfully reports <br /> <br />herein concerning the following matters referred to the Joint Finance Committee Nay Ir-iS, 191 . <br /> <br />Referred by Common Comncil May IZth. <br /> <br /> To confer with representatives of the Sixth and Seventh Ward Boards with regard to improve- <br />ments on Pearl street. <br /> We report that we have conferred with representatives of the Sixth and Seventh Wards <br />with regar~to this matter, but we desire to confer further ~ith the Street ~Gommittee in regard <br />t~ctaims of the two Wards.. <br /> <br /> An appropriation of $500. to repair the Swimming Point .Rridge. <br /> It is recommended that a special appropriation of $500, or as m~oh of the same as ma~ <br />be necessary, be allowed for the purpose. <br /> <br /> To provide in the Budget of 191~ an appropriation of $90.
