June 17~ 1915. <br /> <br /> It is recommended that the usual l/lB of said amount be made available. <br /> To consider purchasing from ~ayer & Co., of Cincinnati, $54,000. of City notes at <br />net. <br /> We report that it is not desirable to purchase more notes at this time and it is so <br />r eo ommende d. <br /> An appropriation to the Assessors of Real Estate for 1915, to cover 80 days' extension of <br />time from l~.ay let. <br /> It is recommended that $800. be allowed to cover said extension of time for said As- <br />sessors. ' ' <br /> <br /> Advisability of purchasing a machine for testing lights. <br /> We report that an appropriation to purchase said machine will be considered for the <br />Budget for 191S. <br /> <br /> A report of Hilton, Rawlings & Co. in regard to auditing books of the City Treasurer and <br />0ity Auditor. <br /> We repor~ that. we have examined said report and it is recommended that it be accepted. <br /> <br /> A petition of the ~nief of Police for two more men for the police force, one for traffic <br /> duty at the corner of Court and High streets and one for..~ty on a motorcycle. <br /> We report that said-matter will be considered for the Budget for 1916. <br /> <br /> Referred by B_oard of Aldermen May 18th. <br /> <br /> A petition of the Plumbing Board .for an appropriation of $50. to buy books, tools, ~c., to <br /> be used by the Board. <br /> It is recommended that an appropriation not to exceed $50. be allowed said Board, by <br /> requisition on Sewerage "Contingent" fund. <br /> <br /> Bonds of N. V. Pearson, .Ma~ter Plumber, and W. L. Hall to b? refunded $I~.~0 paid in error for ~xes for the <br />years 1910-!91~, inclusive; and $1.80 paidmn ~mxer for night soil tax for the year 191Z; Seven- <br />th .Ward. <br /> It is recommended that Mrs. Hall be refunded $i~.80 paid in error for taxes for the <br />years 1910-!91S, iaolusive, out of Seventh Ward funds. <br /> <br /> A petition'of Albert Holiaday to be ref~mded $~.9S paid in error for taxes for the years <br />1909-1914, inclusive; and $5.40 paid in error for night soil tax for the years 191$-1914~ in- <br />elusive; Sixth Ward. <br /> It is recommended that Mr. Holladay be refunded $~.Z0 paid in error for taxes for the <br />year 1915 and $1.80 paid in error for night soil tax for the year 19i5, out of Sixth Ward funds; <br />that the City Collector be inst~acted to relieve him from payment of taxes on said house for the <br />year 1914; and that the Commissioner of Revenue be instructed not to assess taxes against said <br />house_for the year 1915. <br /> <br /> We report ~urther that we have examined the bond of J.
