<br /> Mr. Cart remad:ked that both offers were excessive, said he would favor purchase of property
<br />offered by The Tidewater Realty Company at $50,000.00, and moved that said property be purchased
<br />at said price.

<br />such territory in the Western Branch Magisterial District of Norfolk County as may be deemed

<br /> The Mayo~ returned his approval of .the following matters adopted by the two branches of
<br />City Council November 9-16th, 1915:

<br /> An appropriation of $9~5.00, out of Seventh Ward Bond Account~ to be used in the Seventh
<br />Ward as follows: $E50. for pipe line in Prentis Park; $150. for pipe line at Lincoln and Wash-
<br />inton streets; $300. for repairs to concrete corners on paved streets; and $~5. for repairs
<br />to holes in paved streets.
<br /> $E75.00, out of Sixth Ward Bond Account, to Have Fifth and Sixth avenues ditched and graded..
<br /> A special appropriation of $175. to improve the condition of the boiler room, &c., of the
<br />Municipal Building.
<br /> To make available the unexpended balance of the SEO0. allowed in the Budget of lS15 for
<br />"Court Room," for purchase of chairs and li..~oleum in the same.
<br /> To pay to the Portsmouth Suburban Water Co. $6,547.71 as net balance due by the City to
<br />said Company for water suppling to the ~ity in the Sixth and Seventh Wards up to and including
<br />Sept. ~0, 1915. (See accompanying resolution).
