<br /> Mr. Cart moved to refer to Fire Committee the advisability of trs~usferring No. 1 firm en-
<br />gine to a point nea~ the corner of Sixth and Lincoln streets and selling the lot~ owned by the
<br />City at the corner of Lincoln a~d Third streets. The motion was adopted.
<br /> Whereupon, Mr. Markham claimed that there was not a quorum voting on the motion smd
<br />he appealed from the decision of the Chair.

<br /> First. Matter adopted by the Board of Aldermen March 21st and referred to the Common
<br />Council for concurrence.

<br /> To place on the playground so much of dirt as may be necessary to fill the playground to
<br />grs~le of street, from streets to be permmuently paved, as provided for in the Street Paving
<br />Program.

<br /> To instruct the City Attorney to prepare a P~voper deed to Jno. R. Williams for the S. H.
<br />of lot ~182, Ave. B, in Oak Grove Cemetery.

<br />pedestrians or drivers of vehicles sufficient warning of its approach to said crossings.
<br /> To grant the Va. Ry. & Power Co. permission to install fo~r poles on the west side of
<br />Peachtree street, between Race avenue and the S. A. L. Ry. tracks: as per blueprint attached
<br />to petition; the work to be done Under the supervision of the City Engineer.
