Gentlemen:-- Your Cemetery Committee respectfully reports herein concerning the following matters referred to the Joint Cemetery mittee ~ay 9th, 1916: Referred by Common Council May ~th. To ascertain the best terms for which the sere=al sites offered for cemetery purposes can be purchased. Action on same.deferred. To transfer the fire apparatus now located in Marshall Ward to Eax!ison Ward, .sung to autho- rize the Fire Committee to m~ke the necessa~ry arrsuugements for the said traasfer of the mpps~vat~s. To authorize the Public Proper~y & Schools Committee to obtain bids for repairs on the Court House. To authorize the Public Property & Sohools~ Committee to obtain bids for repairing ~ud pa&n~ ing windows and g~tters of the Seaboard Market, second story. ,To authorize the Public Property & Schools Committee to obtain bide to put in bath s~d room for the Union Fire Company, out of $130. allowed rom same in the Budget. All of the above were concurred in, except section to transfer the fire ~pparatus now located in Marshall ~ard to Me~dison Ward. Second, Matters a~lopted by the Common Council June l%th and refe~rea to the Boa.vd of Alden- fOr concurrence. To accept reoommendmtion of the Board of Hea~tth that award be made to E. C. ~Dunn for the removal of Ni~$t Soil from the Sixth and Seventh Wards mt $1.50 per house per year. Mr. Privett moved to concur ~th the Common COuncil. Mr. Browne moved to amend, to defer action on s~me for thirty d~ys.
