<br /> We report that we h~ve msked Miss Cooke to name a price for the extension of Cooke
<br />stree~,.~hrough her property and she. has set $10,000. for same. ~e ~hink the price excessive
<br />and recommend that the Council offer her $5,000. for all of her holdings west of what would be
<br />the east line of Cooke street extended from Columbia to She South St. Renal, to be paid out of
<br />Seventh Ward funds.
