L. tracks. <br /> In a conference or,he Committee with Superintendent Marshall, of the S, A. L. Ry. <br />Co., and representatives from the Sixth and Seventh Ward Boards, the following was agreed to <br />as to what would be a sm~isfactory arrangement for the present; namely, that a safety gate be <br />placed on Uin~iddie street where e~oseed by the S. A. L. R~ilway tracks, &nd t?~t when a train <br />is crossing the other two named intersections, the engineers shall slow down to.such a rate of <br />travel as will give pedestrians or d~ivers of vehicles sufficient warning of its approach to <br />said crossings. <br /> <br /> A petition of the Virginia Ry, & Power Co."to inste, ti four poles on the west side of Peach- <br />tree street, between Race avenue &nd the S. Wilkins, and that he <br />be given the City's note for same, without interest, pmyable July 1st, 1919. <br /> In addition thereto, it is recommended thatl&v.
