To provide in the Budget of 1917 an appropriation not to exceed $230. to curb and gutter the west side of Butler street, between A and Ann. We report that ~uch an appropriation will be considered for the Budget of l~ly. An mppropriation for ~ survey of property to open up London street through to Ninth avenue. It is recommended thmt this m~t~er be recommitted to Public Service Depa~rtment for an estimate of the cost of such survey. An appropriation of $359.75 to purchase a runabout fo= the City Engineer~ same to be paid for out of $1~4. on ha~d to credit of the Streeb Department and the balance of $215.Y5 to be appropriated. It is recommehded that amid amount be allowed, as requested. An appropriation of $32.~0 out of the Budget, for repairs to the feed room of the Indepen- dent Engine House. It is recommended that said amount be'made available. An appropriation of $15~. for building cese peels and installing plumbing work at the An- nex and Union Hose companies. It is recommended that said amount be made available.
