Adoption of an ordinance appropriating $4,537,000 as followings: $2,325,000 <br />from 2001 Community Development Block Grant funds; $400,000 from Community <br />Development Program Income; $600,000 from reprogramming of prior year CDBG <br />funds; $79,000 from the Emergency Shelter Grant Program; $1,033,000 from 2001 <br />Home Program funds; and $100,000 from 2001 Home Program Income. <br /> <br />These actions will authorize the City Manager to make application to the <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development for our Consolidated Plan funds, <br />and continue our high priority activities in support of the City's Vision 2005 Plan. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />· Adoption of several resolutions and an appropriation ordinance to approve the 2002 <br />Community Development Program. <br /> <br /> a. Adoption of a resolution approving proposed Amendment No. 11 to the Park <br />View Plan. <br /> <br /> b. Adoption of a resolution approving proposed Amendment No. 2 to the West Park <br />View Plan. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of a resolution approving proposed Amendment No. 4 to the Shea <br />Terrace Plan. <br /> <br /> d. Adoption of a resolution approving proposed Amendment No. 32 to the Crawford <br />Plan. <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of a resolution approving the 2002 Action Plan and an Amendment <br />adding language to the 1998-2002 Consolidated Plan stating "Consideration will be <br />given to the Jeffrey Wilson Housing Development as a Hope VI site." <br /> <br /> f. Over time, the cumulative effect of the <br />proposed actions will strengthen the tax base of the city. <br /> <br />1.
