April 10, 2001 <br /> <br /> (d) Will be a project that will be developed according to a plan for parking, <br />driveways, and curb cuts which will provide for safe and convenient traffic movement; <br />and <br /> <br /> (e) Will be in accordance with the purposes of the City of Portsmouth Zoning <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br /> 2. That Monumental United Methodist Church is hereby granted a use permit <br />pursuant to Section 40-43.1 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (1988) for <br />the operation of school for the fine arts on property located at 450 Dinwiddie Street, and <br />being more particularly described as: <br /> <br />UP-01-05 <br /> <br /> Beginning at the southwest corner of Queen Street and <br />Dinwiddie Street; thence, in a westerly direction approximately <br />245' to a point; thence in a southerly direction approximately <br />110" to a point; thence, in a easterly direction approximately <br />234' to a point; thence, in a northerly direction approximately <br />110' to a point of the beginning. <br /> <br />3. That the use permit is approved subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br /> (a) The permitted hours of the proposed operation shall be from 10:00 a.m. to <br />9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. <br /> <br /> (b) <br />time. <br /> <br />No more than forty fine arts students shall utilize the building at any one <br /> <br /> (c) The applicant shall comply with all applicable codes, ordinances, and <br />regulations of federal, state and local governments and shall obtain and maintain in <br />effect all necessary licenses and permits. <br /> <br /> 4. Adoption of a resolution approving proposed Amendment No. 4 to the Shea <br />Terrace Plan. <br /> <br /> d. Adoption of a resolution approving proposed Amendment No. 32 to the <br />Crawford Plan. <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of a resolution approving the 2002 Action Plan and an Amendment <br />adding language to the 1998-2002 Consolidated Plan stating "Consideration will be <br />given to the Jeffrey Wilson Housing Development as a Hope VI site". <br /> <br /> <br />
