<br />City Schools .expressing their appreciation for the courtesies ~nd consideration extended them
<br />at the meeting of the Council February 13th; and on motion, sadd communication w~s ordered to

<br /> E~ communication was r~e~d from the President of the Mayor's ssocmat~on, South Atlantic and
<br />Gulf States, requesting that this City become a member of said Association and be reprm~sent~ed
<br />at a meeting to be held in Savannah, March 13~lSths and same was referred to the Clerk to reply.

<br />~ ~ A judgment was received against the City in favor of Mrs. Lizzie D~ Baehford~to
<br />,1DO0.00, together with interest from February 8th, 191~, and plaintiff's costs $26.33.
<br /> A letter w~s read from Geo. C. Cabeli, attorney for Nfs. Bashford, asking' that said
<br />judgment be paid to him.

<br />A communication was read from Mr. James A, Mulvey preferring charges against the City
<br />Clerk ~nd the Chairman of the Department of Finance in connection with the issue of City Bonds.
<br /> Mr. Dashiell moved that the Mayor appoint a committee of three citizens to investi-
<br />gate the cha~vges and to report to the Council. Adopted.

<br /> A communication was read from Adjutant General W. W. Sale with regard to the City fur-
<br />nishing armory accommodations for Battery "C~ ~nd steele accommodations for thirty-two horses.
