(Mayor's ~essmge). <br /> <br />Recommendation o£ the Chief of Police for more Po!ice Telegraph street boxes, (Eayorte <br /> <br /> Recommendation of the Chief of Police for the establishment of a Bureau of Criminal Iden- <br />tification. (Mayor's Message). <br /> <br /> We report that there are no funds for the execution of these matters, but that we hope <br />to be able to report favorably on same at some future date. <br /> <br />Referred February 27tho <br /> <br /> The City Eanager calls attention to the fact that there a~e several signs in the City which <br />extend more than three feet beyond the building line, <br /> It is recommended that this matter be referred to the Chme~ of Police for notice. <br /> <br />A suggestion of the City Manage~ that a "~cbeth Illiminometer~ be purchased for use of <br />the Electrical Inspector in determining the illuminating power of lights, at a cost of $165.O0. <br /> It is recommended that the suggestion of the Manager be adopted.~ <br /> <br /> Recom~itted (With City Manager) To consider further the mmtter of motorizing the Fire De- <br />partment and report back to the Council as to how the p~roposition can be financed and as to <br />!egmlity of giving as gus~rantee for payments~ deed o~ trust on the appar&tus, <br /> ~e report tha~ this matter, h~s been acted on by the C0uncil.~ <br /> <br /> A petition ~om E.
