This should be done at the end of each tax yea~. <br /> <br />back taxes is being viEorously followed up and the results are quite <br /> <br /> "I Would recommend tha~ the Auditor be instructed to draw a:w~rrs~ut for twe~ty~five ($25.00) <br />~ollars, payable to Nr. F. C~ Hanrahan, and to receive from Mr. H~urahan the amount of seven <br />($y.O0) dollars, three ($3.00) dolia~s to be credited to the hog tax account and four ($~.00) <br />dollmrs to be credited to the Cemetery account. Emmers~. <br />The mmount of one dolla~ and eiEhty cents (~1.80) excess on mccount of Nora ~easAey is ewaently <br />for soil tax which was not extended to the stub. <br /> <br /> "I am hes~vtiiy in favor of the recommendation msAe in connection with the p~actice of the <br />City borrowing the sinking fund,and' would suggest thmt this practice be stopped, excepting in <br />the case of short time transactions with current ~eFenues as security. I also agree that pur- <br />chases of outstanding bonds be made with money from the sinking fund whenever it cmn be done <br />to advs~utage. <br /> <br /> "In connection with the accounts which apps~-~v on Page ~6 of the Audit report, I would sug- <br />gest the following: <br /> <br /> "That ~r.
