Lawrence Stadium to Old DOminion Demolition, and a <br />motion requesting permission to exceed the 25% limit~on change <br />orders. <br /> <br /> a. A motion to award a demolition contract for the Frank <br />D. Lawrence Stadium to Old Dominion Demolition. In addition tc <br />the stadium demolition, this contract includes demolition of a <br />portion of the abutting streets and sidewalks. No additional <br />appropriation is required to complete this work, <br /> <br /> b. A motion to exceed the 25% limit on change orders for <br />the demolition of Frank D. Lawrence Stadium. <br /> <br /> c. Ordinance to amend Chapter 25 of the City Code by <br />amending Sections 25-93 and 25-148 and by repealing Sections i <br />25-92, 25-110 and 25-176 through 25-181 pertaining to Parks and <br />Recreation. The stadium is Scheduled for demolition around <br />April 1, 1995. In addition, the Sleepy Hole facility lease <br />begins on April 1, 1995. It is recommended that all code <br />references to fees and policies for the facility be repealed. <br /> <br /> "On January 10, 1995 funds were appropriated for the <br />demolition of the Frank D. Lawrence Stadium. Bids were <br />received for this work on March 14, 1995 and were very <br />competitive and favorable with today's construction market (see <br />AttacAment No. 1). The total anticipated project costs are <br />Calculated as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
