Ry. & Power Co., Mr. Brooks stated he is opposed to ~pe~ <br /> diture of any money for work done before provision is made for payment by the Council~ <br /> Mr. Brooks,~.~m~lrman of the Traction Committee, stated that his Committee had had several <br /> conferences ~ith the Officials of the Va. Ry. & Power Co. and that the items.discussed in said <br /> conferences had been put in writing and submitted tO the Va.R~.'& Power Co. over three weeks <br /> ago~, and that~ the Committee is waiting on a rep~Eti~om the said ~¢ompan~ beforemaking a <br /> report ~o the Council. <br /> <br /> ~. O0 for installation and payment of monthly bills, of ~lectric lights <br />at the City Home. <br /> On motion, the appropriation was referred to ~he Finance Committee. <br /> <br /> 2nd. Forwards communication from Judge J. Lewis Thomas, <br />allowance of $10. per month for office space.
