<br /> I am desirous of securing a piece of land located at the northeast corner of Fourth
<br />St. and Key Ave., either by lease or purchase, preferably by lease, which will nom deprive
<br />the City of this piece cf property if at some future time the City should desire the use of it.

<br /> This property fourteen fee~ wide ranuing the full length of Key Ave., came into
<br />the p~ssession of the City by the.annexation of Prentis Place, whichis k~own at the pwesent
<br />time as Lee Ward.

<br /> It is my desire to erect a building for the conducting of a small business, aud to
<br />do so I wish to acquire the strip of land on the northeast corner of Fourth St. and K~y Ave..,
<br />fourteen feet facing Fourth St.,, and running parallelff~lf~y feet on Key Ave., or a total cf
<br />~00 square feet, for which I am willing t~ pay the prescribed rate of five cents per squ~re
<br />foot, or have the City Council, City N~n~ger, or both sez a fair rental v~lue on sa~e, with
<br />a lease for five ~ears with the understanding that al any time the City wishes to use said
<br />property for street purposes, I will remove all buildings and accessories thereto, within
<br />thirty days w~tten notice from either the City Manager or City Council.
