Motion by Mr. Pitts, <br /> <br />June 13, 1995 <br /> <br />and seconded by Mr. Martin, <br /> <br />following ordinance, <br /> <br />159 <br /> <br /> to adopt <br />and was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 35 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY <br /> VIRGINIA (1988) BY AMENDING SECTION 35-416 <br /> PERTAINING TO TAXATION." <br /> <br />Clemons, Griffin, Hawks, Martin, Pitts, Robinett, Webb <br />None <br /> <br />5 Letter from the City Manager recommending adoption of an <br /> to amend Section 17-1 of the City Code to conform with <br /> legislation as to requirements for notice as to <br /> buildings. <br /> <br />"Previous provisions of the State Code required that the <br /> of Environmental Services obtain a court order granting <br /> to demolish structures which were determined to be <br /> and unsafe.
