175' <br /> June 27, 1995 <br /> <br />Barbara Vincent, 461 D%nwiddie Street, requested that the fees <br /> Portsmouth community Concerts pays for use of Willett Hall <br /> a grandfather clause. <br /> <br />Savage, 4028 Sun Valley Crescent, Chesapeake, spoke on <br /> paid for the use of Willett Hall by the Portsmouth <br /> Concerts. <br /> <br />lia Kelly, 720 Broad Street, spoke in support of the public <br /> ~ requirements for PortsEvents pertaining to Willett <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Pitts, and seconded by Robinett, to adopt the <br />ordinance, and was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 25 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY <br /> VIRGINIA (1988) BY REPEALING SECTIONS 25-226 <br /> 25-228 THEREOF, PERTAINING TO WILLETT HALL RENTAL FEES." <br /> <br />Griffin, Hawks, Martin, Pitts, Robinett, <br />Clemons <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Martin, and seconded by Mr. Hawks, to <br /> the City Manager to enter into an agreement with <br /> to manage the operation of Willett Hall, and was <br /> by the following vote: <br /> <br />Griffin, Hawks, Martin, Pitts, Robinett <br />Clemons <br /> <br />6 - Letter from the City Manager recommending adoption <br /> )rdinance to enact a new Section 22-430 of the City Code <br /> the City to seek rein%bursement for expenses incurred in <br /> to situations resulting from driving under the <br /> deferred from the June 13, 1995 Regular City Council <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Griffin, and seconded by Mr. Hawks, to table <br />ideration of the ordinance, and was adopted by the following <br /> <br />Clemons, Griffin, Hawks, Martin, Pitts, Robinett <br />None <br /> <br />- CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Hawks, and seconded by Mr. Robinett, to <br /> the rules of order to consider agenda item 95-315, and <br /> by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />15 - Letter from the City Manager recommending adoption of a <br /> to approve the conceptual design plans for construction <br /> inlet and ferry docking facility at the foot of High <br /> developed by Tidewater Regional Transit, and a motion <br />ting permission to proceed with the final design phase. <br /> <br />a.
