30,8; CONSENT AGENDA ~ Noven~ber 28~ '1995 - Unfinished Business Rezonings and Comprehensive Plan Amendment: Motion by Mr. Hawks, and seconded by Mr. Robinett, to adopt the following ordinances and resolution, approved at November 13, 1995 Public Hearing meeting, and was adopted by the following vote: 95-489 (a): "ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINA/~CE Z-95-21." the 95-489 (b): "ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-95-22." 95-489 (c): "ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z- 95-24." 95-412 (h) : "A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT (CP-95-05) TO THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH. WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, on July 11, 1989, adopted a Comprehensive Plan, (CP-89-1), for the physical development of the territory within the City; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after notice and public hearing, as requ%re? ~y Article IV of Chapter 11 of Title 15.1 of the Code of Vlrg~n~a, 1950, as amended, has recommended that the Comprehensive Plan be amended as set forth in the Comprehensive Plan Technical Report (1995) to incorporate current data with respect to land use, population, transportation, economy, neighborhoods, parks and open space, and utilities; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Portsmouth has held a public hearing, with notice as required by law, and has considered the proposed amendment to the Comprehensive Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, that the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Portsmouth, Virginia,(CP-89-1) be, and hereby is, amended as set forth in the Comprehensive Plan Technical Report (1995), a copy of which shall be filed and maintained in the Department of Planning of the City of Portsmouth." Ayes: Clemons, Griffin, Hawks, Martin, Robinett, Webb Nays: None 95-489 - Use Permit: (f) Resolution granting the use permit application of Mary Staton for residential care facility at 104 Median Circle. (UP-95-22) (First Reading Vote 5-0-1) Motion by Mr. Hawks, and seconded by Mr. Martin, to defer consideration of the use permit until the December 12, 1995 regular meeting, and was adopted by a vote of 5-1-1(Clemons against; Robinett abstained due to businessrelationship with property owner.)
