<br /> Any person, firm or ~orporaticn not paying an electrical or plumber, s
<br /> license, who installs or repairs automatic oil burners, automatic coal
<br /> burners, mechanicaire~rige~ators or soda fountains, $51.OO. This li-
<br /> cense shall be in addition to a merchant's license required for the
<br /> sale of such merchandise.'
<br />
<br /> 2nd- ~MATTRESS P~vNOVATING.
<br /> .Any person, firm or corporation e~gaged in the business of renovating,
<br /> rehabilitating and/er repairing mattresses, pillows and the like, when
<br /> such business is not conducted in connection with another licensed bu-
<br /> siness, $18.O0. Not pre-rated.'

<br /> 3rd- 'DENTAL LABORATORIES.
<br /> Any person, firm or corporation who shall conduct or operate a dental
<br /> laboratory, $26.00. Not pro-rated.,
<br />
<br /> 4th- 'PARKING LOTS.
<br /> Any person,'firm c~ corporation engaged in the business of operating
<br /> parking lots, where motor vehicles are kept or where space, is rented
<br /> for the storage of motor vehicles, for which keeping or space a charge
<br /> is made, where the capacity of said lot does net exceed 50 vehicles,
<br /> $26.00; where in excess cf 50 vehicles, $51.O0.'

<br /> 5th-'WATOHES AND JEWELRY REPAIRS.
<br /> Any person, ~irm or corporation not licensed as merchants, who repair
<br /> watches or jewelry, $12.O0. Net pre-rated.
<br />
<br /> 6th- (To be inserted in General Provisio~s)
<br /> 'Any person., firm er corporation engaged in more than one class ~f
<br /> business for which a license is required under this ordinance shall,
<br /> unless otherwise provided, be liable for the license hereby provided
<br /> for each of said classes of business.'

<br />' Licenses issued under this Ordinance shall be ~ransferable, except
<br />where otherwise provided, but in no case shall any transfer of li-
<br />cense be legal or valid unless and until notice in writing of such
<br />transfer shall have bee~ given to th~ Oity Oollecto= and he shall
<br />have approved said transfer in w~iting on the said license. The
<br />said notice shall state the time of the transfer, the place of busi-
<br />ness and name of the perso~ to whom transferred. The Gity Oolleotor
<br />shall keep a record of~ueh transfers. Any person, f Lrm or corpora-
<br />~ion transferring er attempting to transfer any license contrary to
<br />the provisions of this ordznance, s~h~!l be fined not less than $10.00
<br />not more than $50.00.'

<br />

<br />~Any person, firm or corporation whose business is that ef building,
<br />remodeling or repairing, whether it is by day labor, contract or
<br />s~olet shall be deemed tc be a contractor.~
<br />'It shall be the duty of every contractor who sublets any portion of
<br />work contracted for, to notify the B~ilding Inspector of such s~o-
<br />letting, givingamo~nt so sublet, the name and address of person,
<br />firm or corporation t~ wh~m any portion of thework is sublet; a~d
<br />for failure so to~do, shall be f~ned not less than $10.O0 nor more
<br />than $50.00; And any person other than the owner thereof who shall
<br />act as superintendent of erection, construction or repair of build-
<br />ings for which a permit is required and which said work is not d~e un-
<br />der the supervision of a regularly licensed person, shall pay the li-
<br />cense tax required~in this section.'

<br />for milk permits.
