An anpropriation of $1,150.00 for repairs to market, laid on table at last meeting,
was taken up an~the 'following letter from the aityManager ~was read in connection with same:
~F~rthe= in connection with my letter of Novembsr lSth requesting a special appro-
priation of $1,150.00 for repairs to the Market building.
As suggested, i have further inMestiga~edand find that the wall can be water-
proofed without stucceing. However, this work should be done in warm weather. If the roof is
repaired and other minor repairs are made, the w~ter-proofing of the wall can be deferred until
next spring. The roof and other minor repaL~s should be mad~ to the building right away.
To repair the roof and make other re~s necessary to the buildLug will cost ap-
proximately $500.00, a~d I therefore request a special appropriation of $500~D0 for this pur-
pose.~
