<br /> "At your last meeting you referred to me the petition from L.D. Moore, ~ ~ ' ~
<br />for a ref~d of taxes of 1933 erroneously assessed upon a building on his land number 2110
<br />parker Avenue. I find that a building ~as assessed ~gainst Luther D. Moore and Virginia Mae
<br />Moore on property designated as 211~ parker Avenue, for 1933, this was an error on the ~rt
<br />of the Commissione~ of the Revenue, and ~. and Ers. Moore did not build On the land ltl0
<br />parker Avenue until after the 1st of January. They should be ref~ded the s~ of $~8.25. The
<br />building should have been assessed to Nzcnols and Lzn~.emann on lot 2114, e, nd the Oo~issioner
<br />of t~ Revenue should be so advised."

<br /> . Notice of School Board calling attention to a vacancy in the School Board occa-
<br />sioned by the death of Mr.~ T. W. Eathews, laid on table until this meeting, was thken up.
<br /> Motion of M~r. parrish to go into the election of a ~ember of the School Board
<br />for the unexpired term of Mr~ T.W. Mathews~ was adopted.
<br /> M~. parish nominated Er. Morris H. Rapoport, and there being no other nomina -
<br />~ionS, Mr. R~oopo~t was declared elected, and by the following vote:

<br /> On March yth, 193~, my home was destroyed by fire and nothing whs, tsoever was
<br />recovered.
<br /> Will you kindly let me have a rebate of taxes assessed for the year 193~, as

<br />at Oatawba Sanatorium, Friday, Nov. 23. Due to the small crowd attendim~ the dance, we did-not
<br />make expenses. We would therefore greatly appreciate the return of the amount paid for the
<br />use of the Oity Auditorium.
