<br />And will recommend its approval by the Oommissloner of Public Roads Administration for construe

<br />ever, to the condition that the Oity of Portsmouth shall provide for its proper maintenance af-
<br />ter completion~of its improvement.
<br /> 2. That the said Oity of Portsmouth hereby requests the Highway Depart-
<br />ment to submit the aforementioned project with rocommend~ion that it be approved by the Oommis-
<br />sioner of Public Roads Administration and agrees that if such project is approved and construc~
<br />ed by the Highway Department and the~Oommissioner of Public Roads Administration it thereafter,
<br />at its own cost and expense, will maintain the project in a manner satisfactory to them9 or
<br />their authorized representatives and will make ample prOViSion each year for suchmaintenamee.~
