<br /> llth- "At the regular meeting of the City Cou$cil, on February 23rd, the reoot~
<br />mendation to make certain changes in bus routes was adopted. ~ince that date, the Manager has
<br />been advised that the Congressional Committee's investigation will include transportation and
<br />permission was granted from the O.D.T. Office to delay t~his change temporarily.
<br /> A further delay was requested later, and the following telegram was re-
<br />ceived on Sunday, l~rch 2Otb:
<br /> ~Was disappointed to hear ple~ was not put into effect
<br /> as scheduled. Further delay can not be justified. Please
<br /> request Council to act favors, bly.~
<br /> Since the O.D.T. will not allow further delay of re-routing, on Monday,
<br />March 29th, the proposed pl~u will be put into effect."
