<br />citizens tc visit this vicinity, and

<br /> WHEREAS, most of this business will consume less than one hour and it
<br />would be for the best interest of the citizens to have ~emporary:parking space,
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the Cityo f Ports-
<br />mouth that parking on County Street, between Crawford and Water Streets, on the north and

<br />on March 31st, 19~3 and bids tabulated, and

<br />WHEREAS, bid of C. H. Lawson of $53,730.00 was found to be
<br />the lowest submitted,

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, Be it Resolved by the Council of ~he City
<br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the proposal of C. H. Lawson
<br />be accepted and the contract for said work be awarded the
