<br />..matter ~o ~ith my Executive Committee, who heartily agree
<br /> that something definite should be done, probably in the
<br /> form of a curfew law, to protect and safe-guard the c~rac-
<br /> ters o f our y~nng~people, especially during these unsettled
<br />~ and trying times.
<br /> Therefore, the Portsmouth Woman's Club would appreciate it
<br /> very much if you would bring this matter up at the next
<br /> Council meeting end see if something definite can be done
<br /> to safeguard the youth of our City.

<br />ATION CO~IISSION OF VIRGINIA, PRESCRIBING THE ROUTES, TERMS
<br />AND CONDITIONS.'~

<br />hereby authorized to purchase bonds of the United

<br />paid out of the General Fund of the City, end an ap-
<br />propriation of $2OO,OOO.00 is hereby made for that
<br />purpose.~
