<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE~0LVED that the Council of the
<br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia here by accepts the project
<br />as completed, subJec~ ~o all of the terms and conditions
<br />of the contract and grants necessary ~ime extensions without
<br />liquidated damages, and therefore authorizes the proper of -
<br />ficers of the 0ity to execute and sign the necessary docu -
<br />
<br />~WHEREAS, the Child Care Center, Project VA 44-362, located
<br />at the corner of Fifth and Lincoln Sts. hs.s~been completed
<br />by Trinkle and Dobyns, Contractors, ~o the satisfaction of
<br />the City Manager and Contract ~l of Trinkle and Dobyns was
<br />completed ~rch 26th, 1945, and
<br />WHEPJEA~, this project has been approved and accepted by the
<br />Federal Works Agency, through its Norfolk representatives,
<br />NOW, TP~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the 0ouncil of tbm City
<br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, hereD~ accepts the project as com -
<br />pleted subject to all of the terms and conditions of the
<br />contract and grants necessary time extensions without liqui-
<br />dated damages~ and therefore authorizes the proper officers
<br />of the City to execute and sign the necessary documents.~

<br />~WHEREA~, the Water ProJeO~ VA 44-269, consisting of filtra-
<br />tion, reservoirs, tanks, pumps and other accroutremen~s has
<br />been completed to the satisfaction of the City. Manager by
