· We find the re-routing of your bus lines a great detriment and nuisance to
our business. Complaints have been~numerous because the women of Portsmouth find it impossible
to view our unusual window displays, since the bus stops at the corner of Court and High Sis.
Out'windows ~ow are entirely blocked by those pereons awaiting buses - not only are the win
dows themselves marred but we~ find that the sidewalk and entrance to our Store is covered wi~h
debris.
The Famous has always wished to co-operate with the ~ity Council and its
many civic projects for the betterment of Portsmouth, but in this instance, we beg of you ~o
reconsider your bus routing and remove the ~stop zone" at the corner or, High and C~urt Sis.
Hoping you will make this change in the very near future, we are,

Very truly yours,
