Football League, which I would like to discuss with you at thi~ time."
Attachment- ''The Portsmouth Professional Football Club~ Inc., a member of theDixie
tgrantedfolk C the~ franchise_ rights, to ~oromote professional. . football in the. City of Portsmouth~ and Nor. -
t~ -~ 9un~y~and mesires to lease the ~un~cipal Stadmum, with concession rights, under the terms of
ne ui~y ordinance..

~ . ~ ~ -. ~t th~s time, there are no aress~ng room aooommodatlons mn the stadium
· or ou_ ueam. ~±ue prznts have been drawn and oresented ~o the ~tv
dressing room needed. The aoproximate cost of this room as per specifications is ~2,500.O0.
In order for us to play ball in the stadium, it is necessary that we
have the use of a dressing room. We do not think that we are being unfair in asking you to re-
quest the City Council to appropriate funds to pay for one-half the cost of building this room
and we will pay the other~ half.
To assure the City that we are in good faith in our proposal, we are
willing; if possible, to lease the stadium for a period of three years under the terms of the
City ordinance~ This means that the money.spent by the City will at least, be returned to
them over ~he period of the lease. '
Due to lack of sufficient seating capacity at all High School games last
year, we think that additional seats should be erected opposite the concrete stands'to accom
modate at least five thousand people.
I would appreciate it very much if you would bring this matter to the
attention of the City Council at their next meeting, Tuesday, March 12th and let me hear from
you as soon thereafter as possible. '

.Very truly yours,
