The following letter was read:

"T~ring the last severalyears, the location o f the polls for Lee
~a~d voters has been situated at ~:~. P~ice~s garage, 915 Efncoln St.
in ou~ opinion, this location is both undesirable and inadequate from
practically every standpoint. We believe, thereFore, that for the co,alert aud convenience of
both the election officials and the voters, as well a s for the more efficient conduct of our
elections, removal from the p~esent location is desirable. It is suggested that Engram~s
Gas s~ation, 922 Lincoln Bt., be considered. This is a new and modern building, well lighted
and ventilated, equipped ~ith sanitary toilets, comfortably heated in cold weather, with a
large open concrete s~ace fronting the building. These factors, together with assurance from
the operator that everything possible will be done for both the comfort and convenience of
all concerned c~nvinces us that a cha~ge to the suggeste~ loDation is desirable.
~ill you please consider an amendment to the governing ordinance in
order that the above may b e accomplished?"
