<br />a letter and say thanks for what you have done, also the City Council, the city employees at

<br />ty in Nansemond County. You will note these statements show the actual amount of taxes billed

<br />earned outside the ~ortsmouth city limits during the calendar year ended December 31, 1947.
<br /> The taxes due for 1948 amount to six hundred mud forty-two dollars
<br />sevenveen cents ($642.1V). ~e will be required to pay interest and penalties on ~l unpaid
<br />t~xes and reco~mend that this matter be studied in order to elimirm, te these extra costs."
