Anna Olsen Keo~ and husband, to purchase a parcel or strip of land from the Grove Park Fire Station property. The request was re~ected and I was instructed to endeavor to purchase the lot o~¢ned by ~s. Anna 01sen Keon at the intersection of Airline Boulevard and Grove ~venue. The o~er is ~' ~ asKmno the sum of ~1200.00 for this lot. I recommend that the Council m~e an offer for the lot." Motion of ~. Weiseman tb~t the City Manager be authorized to purchase the property at the lowest possible price~ was adopted. 8th - "I submit here~th a letter fro~Robert Ainsworth in reply to the City's offer to pay the sum of $1~0.00 for the lot N at E.S. Court St.~ o~ned by the Ains- · ~rorth heirs. I recommend 6hat the City Council place the sum of $![0.00 on its first reading for payment for the lot referred to and that the City Council consider the question of waiving the taxes requested by Mr. Ainsworth." Scribner's term of office expires July I~ ~9~1. ~t is requested that the vacancy be filled." Motion of ~-~.
