Vass: representing the City of Ports- <br />mouth~ After a lengthy discussion of the question ~ud a thorough examination of the reports <br />of the engineers representing both political subdivisions: those present agreed to submit to <br />their respective governing bodies for consideration the follo%f_ng: that if the Commission <br />will transferand convey to the City of Portsmouth all oortions of the existing facilSties <br />recently o~ed by the Federal Works Agency and conveYed~by said Agency to the Commissmon that <br />are located within the present city limits of the City of Portsmouth ~ud rel~uquish all ~ghts <br />and interests that the Commission may- D~ve in the aD~exed territory to the City of Port <br />the City of Portsmouth will assume the payments of the amount in the sum of $2~2:~00.00 of <br />the amount due the Federal Works Agency by the Sa~itary Commission on the s~e terms that <br />t~e Commission has with the Federal Government concerning the payment of the same and %,~ll <br />pay to the Co~m:ission the sr~ of $~7~00.O0 in cash. ~ <br /> <br /> I reco~end that the City Co-~ncil conc~ in the above." <br /> <br />Manager was adopted. <br /> <br />Motion of 1-~.
