H~¢ard that the City enter into an ~reement with the <br />High~ay Department~ was adooted. <br /> <br /> 6th - "I s~2omit herewith a letter from Mr. J.T. Boswell~ a former <br />employee of the City of Portsmouth~ requesting his retirement ftuuds. I have ascertained the <br />amount to be ~6~.84 and recommend that this ~o~mut be approved for payment." <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Stu~tevant to appropriate ~64.8~ for said purpose was <br />adopted. <br /> <br /> ~th "I snbmit herewith a letter dated September 6th~ 1950~ ~om the <br />Public Housing Administration ~ requesting that the City advise the administration whether or <br />not it intends to apply for the transfer of the temporary war housing located off Gosport Rd, <br />and kno~m as Carver Homes (VA_ ~%4244,) on or before December Bl~19~O. i recommend that the <br />City notify the Housing Authority that it does not intend to apply for the transfer of the <br />temporary ~r housing." <br /> <br /> Motion of ~.
