October 2~rd. 1951, <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Bilisoly to approve the budget for the City Sergeant, Commissioner of Reve- <br />nue and Commonwealth Attorney was adopted. <br /> <br /> 5th - "I submit the attached ordinance repealing an ordinance adopted March 2~th,1942, <br />authorizing the issuance of One Hundred Sixty-six thousand dollars of bonds of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />to be known ss Sanitary Sewer Bonds. <br /> These bonds were never issued and I recom~ end that the attached ordinance be <br />placed on its first reading since we do not desire to issue the bonds~.~~ <br /> <br /> Notion of Mr. lSeiseman to place the following ordinance on its first reading, was adopted <br /> <br /> "AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL AN ORDINANOE ENTITLED: 'AN O~DINANCE ~JTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE <br /> OF ONE HUNDRED AND DIXTY SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS OF BONDS OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br /> VIRGINIA, TO BE ENO~N AS SANITARY SEWER BONDS FOR T~ PURPCSE OF INSTALLING SEWERS <br /> IN ~E ~S~RED SECTIONS OF THE CITY, MAKING PROVISION FOR THE FOE~ OF SAID BONDS <br /> AND FOR THE PAYMENT THEREOF, ADOPTED MARCH 23th,19A2." <br /> <br /> 6th ~- "If submit a letter from Leonard G.
