<br /> Motion of Mr. Bilisoly to approve the budget for the City Sergeant, Commissioner of Reve-
<br />nue and Commonwealth Attorney was adopted.

<br /> 5th - "I submit the attached ordinance repealing an ordinance adopted March 2~th,1942,
<br />authorizing the issuance of One Hundred Sixty-six thousand dollars of bonds of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia,
<br />to be known ss Sanitary Sewer Bonds.
<br /> These bonds were never issued and I recom~ end that the attached ordinance be
<br />placed on its first reading since we do not desire to issue the bonds~.~~

<br /> Notion of Mr. lSeiseman to place the following ordinance on its first reading, was adopted
<br />

<br /> Motion of Mr. Houghton that the City Manager be authorized to advertise the property
<br />for sale and that the City Engineer prepare several sketches of the property to be offered for sale, was adopted.
