This has been carefully reconsidered aud it is further determined that from a traffic and
safety standpoint that the State can not approve the location of this project ~long Hamilton ~venue unless a chant
is made in the A~ir Lzue Boulevard at its ~_ntersection with High Street, preferably with Biagram ~rl which has been
submitted to you. -
Under the circumstances, we respectfully request your advice as to a re-routing ~rom the pres-
ent intersection, since your Council has stated ~hat they will not agree to closing any part of the Air Line
Boulevard. As discussed in this office, the proposal of following the A & B Pd~. right of way and along Fauquier
Avenue appears reasonable and practical and we are prepared to immediately arrange for a survey of that line
sho~zld you so advise that it is ~cceptable to the City° Yours very truly,

At the request of ~tr. Howard, this committee was continued until the ne~b Council meeting.
