VII TO THE MOUNT <br />HERMON CONSERVATION AND REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE MOUNT <br />HERMON CONSERVATION AND REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT. <br /> WHEREAS, this Council by resolution adopted September 12, 1972, <br />approved a Conservation and Redevelopment Plan for the Mount Hermon <br />:Conservation and Redevelopment Project, Portsmouth, Virginia ("Plan"); and <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this body for consideration and <br />~approval, a copy of the proposed Amendment No. VII to the Plan. the ("Amendment"), <br />which consists of 30 pages and 3 exhibits; and <br /> WHEREAS, Amendment No. VII Proposes to change the land use of the <br /> properties located at 843 and 847 Mt. Vernon Avenue, portsmouth¢ Virginia (Tax <br /> Plate 154, Parcels 33 and 34) as shown on the Land Use Map, Exhibit No. 2 to the <br /> Plan, from residential to industrial; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority has <br /> resolved that this Amendment is in the best interest of the City's redevelopment effort <br /> and has recommended its adoption by this Council; and <br /> <br /> <br />
