Raeford Eure requests a <br /> rezoning from Residential RS-150 to Office Residential OR-75-K at <br /> 3200 Cedar Lane. (PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED <br /> APPROVAL) <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Martin, and seconded by Mr. Pitts, to deny the application <br />for the rezoning to develop an office building at 3200 Cedar Lane based on the <br />determination that the application has been improperly and invalidly <br />submitted to Council for consideration, and was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Berm, Clemons, Griffin, Martin, Pitts, Robinett, Holley <br />Nays: None <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Martin, and seconded by Mr. Pitts, to refer consideration <br />of rezoning for various open space areas to the City Manager for further study, <br />and was adopted by unanimous vote. · <br /> <br />b) UP-97-19 - PRENTIS PARK AND BRIGHTON NEIGHBORHOOD -Victor E. Cox <br /> of Ray,s Service Center requests e use permit to sell used motor <br /> vehicle parts at 3410 George Washington Highway. (PLANNING <br /> COMMISSION RECOMMENDED APPROVAL) <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Robinett, and seconded by Mr. Pitts, to defer <br />consideration of UP-97-19 until the November 10, 1997 Council Meeting, and <br />was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />(c) CA-97-07 - CITYWiDE - A code amendment to change Section 40-43.1 Use <br /> Table as it pertains to drinking places and to add definitions to <br /> Section 40-22, Specific Definitions. (PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> RECOMMENDED APPROVAL) <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Robinett, and seconded by Mr. Griffin, to defer <br />consideration of CA-97-07 until the January 13, 1998 Council meeting. <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Pitts to amend the motion to defer consideration of CA.97- <br />07 fOr 30 daYs. Motion failed due to the lack of a second. <br /> <br />The original motion was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Benn, Griffin, Martin, Pitts, Robinett, Holley <br />Nays: Clemons <br /> <br /> <br />
