<br /> Section 7, o£ the City Charter; and
<br /> WHEREAS, a petition for writ of mandamus has.been filed naming the City Manager
<br /> and Chief of ~dice as defendaats 1i~ connection with the City Manager's dismissal
<br /> of PatroLman P.J. Enrico~from the Police Department, but the Civil Service Com -
<br /> mission is not a party to these proceedings; and
<br /> WKEREAS, it is.in.the~best interest of all eca~eerned to seek a final and authorz-
<br />tative constr~ctiok of the above-mentioned section of the City Charter;
